By creating an account on FireStart.ca, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

What FireStart Provides

FireStart.ca is an exam preparation platform for Canadian firefighter aptitude tests. We provide practice questions, guided lessons, progress tracking, and study tools. FireStart is an independent educational platform and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with OFAI, FireOntario, FPSI, National Testing Network, or Gledhill-Shaw.

Subscription and Payment

• A membership costs $67 CAD for 12 months of access
• Payment is processed securely by Stripe
• Memberships do not renew automatically — when your 12 months end, you can choose to renew
• Receipts and billing details are available from your account settings; no refunds are provided for partial periods
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to active subscribers

Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not share your account with others or allow multiple users to access a single subscription. Accounts found to be shared may be suspended without refund.

Intellectual Property

All content on FireStart.ca — including practice questions, lessons, explanations, and study materials — is the intellectual property of FireStart.ca. You may not reproduce, distribute, or resell any content without written permission.

Disclaimer

FireStart.ca provides exam preparation materials for educational purposes only. We make no guarantee of exam results or employment outcomes. Passing scores and hiring decisions are determined solely by the relevant testing organizations and fire departments.

Limitation of Liability

FireStart.ca's liability is limited to the amount you paid for your current subscription period. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify active subscribers of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance.
