Exam Details

Edmonton's invitation-only virtual aptitude test is worth 40% of your overall score, costs $65 and can't be rewritten. It covers oral information, written comprehension, numerical skills, maps, diagrams and mechanical reasoning, and teamwork and public speaking. The City recommends CPS HR study materials but doesn't name the test. A later Threshold Knowledge Test covers NFPA 1001 Level 1. The City says it is updating the process for the 2027 intake.
